After seeing her play at a bar drunken , star John Norman Howard falls in love with unknown singer, Esther Hoffman. He lets her sing a couple of music plus she becomes the conversation about the audio industry. Esther's star begins to grow, while John's continues to collapse. She strives desperately for John concentrate on his music and to sober up, but it may be too late to rescue him.
