If Nora's cousin, Selma, reports her husband Robert missing recently returned in vacation, private detective Nick Charles and his wife, Nora, are back on the case. While the duo seek out the disreputable Robert,'' the friend David Graham, who secretly pines for her of Selma, assists the investigation. The missing persons case turns into one of murder when the three begin to unravel Robert life.
