Mikami (Susumu Fujita), Kawakami (Masayuki Mori), and Murakami (Akitake Kono) are three IJN flyers who are well-known for their torpedo skills. Mikami is assigned as a staff officer to a base on a Pacific island. As the base squardron is reinforced, Kawakami and Murakami join him. When the enemy task force approaches the island, all three of them attack the fleet and kill themselves.
