Back in 1970s England, three friends spend their days drinking, fighting and chasing girls. Freddie wants to leave their working-class world however lovable failure Snork, charismatic Bruce and trendy are content with life exactly the way it's. The gang have to make decisions which may change their lives for ever when Freddie gets a new project as a door to door salesman and bumps into his old school love Julie.
