Two teenage journalists travel to the French-Swiss border to investigate a bizarre instance of cattle mutilations and gather testimony for a television station. However, when they arrive, the scientific team they were supposed to meet has vanished. Melissa and David will search for the missing team deep into the mountains, escorted by a first-aider, a British biologist, and an American forensic investigator.
