Within this action reboot of the 1993 film, an ambitious and spunky 12-year-old, Karina Foley, inserts himself at a police investigation of the Badge Bandit. Much like Simmons' disapproval, Karina spouses with him from wreaking havoc on the 23, to avoid the Badge Bandit. Through humor, ability, and smoothies, Detective Simmons and Karina save daily and develop a relationship that is strong in the process.
