Jamie returns to his wife's murder, which happened after having a bizarre bundle containing a dummy named Billy, which could possibly be linked to ventriloquist Mary Shaw's legend. Destined to find the truth out, Jamie goes to town of Praise's Fair, where Shaw was used to do and is buried. But Jamie is in for longer than that expected.
