Andy Lau plays a young delinquent attempting to flee the ghetto. After being released from prison, he is bullied by a local dictator, Ma Chao-wei; nevertheless, his fellow inmates eventually assist him in resolving the issue. Ma, on the other hand, seeks retribution. His only way out is to make friends with a wealthy inmate (Ho Kar King).
