Dr. Génessier is riddled with guilt after an accident that he caused disfigures the head of his kid, the formerly beautiful Christiane, who outsiders believe is dead. Dr. Génessier, along side accomplice and laboratory helper Louise, kidnaps ladies and attracts them into the Génessier mansion. After rendering his victims unconscious, Dr. Génessier removes his faces and tries to graft them Christiane's.
