Girl friends is a contemporary story of Linda, Sue and Gail because they struggle with the obligations which have been today's woman of a particular age. After the sudden and magnificent death of Linda's husband Micky, childhood friends Sue Linda and Gail find themselves. Each has their own issues to manage. From a looming divorce by the husband she still loves and the loss of through age discrimination a job, to juggling their grandchildren and aging mothers' boundless responsibilities.
