Overview
HONDROS explores the sad and often surprising tales behind famed military photographer Chris Hondros' best-known photographs. Chris was one of the first in a new generation of war photographers since Vietnam, driven by a conviction to give witness to the wars of our time after the events of 9/11. HONDROS delves into the difficulties of covering more than a decade of conflict while trying to live a normal life. It also looks at the unknown calculus that goes into making split-second life-or-death decisions — before, during, and after his photographs were taken. Chris was slain in Libya in 2011, but his legacy in his field lives on.
