San Francisco heiress Page Forrester is murdered in her shore house that is remote. Her husband Jack is devastated by the offense but soon finds himself accused of her murder. He hires lawyer Teddy Barnes to defend him, despite the fact she's not managed a case for all decades. There exists a definite chemistry between them and Teddy shortly finds himself defending the person she loves.
