Overview
Harold is a lonely figure in a world of totalitarian bureaucracy in the story. In Prague, Harold tries to track down an old acquaintance named Joseph Kilian. Harold rents a cat for the day after stumbling across a state-run cat-lending store. Later, when he goes to return the cat, he discovers that the store has closed down. Harold continues his search for Kilian with the help of a canine companion. Pavel Juracek's 40-minute film, written and directed by him, effectively targets personality cults and the absurdities of a totalitarian regime with allegorical shots.
