After her father's passing, Little Voice or LV becomes a recluse, never going out and scarcely saying a word. She just sits in her bedroom hearing her dad's collection of recordings of Shirley Bassey, Marilyn Monroe along with other female singers. But during the night time, LV sings, imitating these singers with surprising accuracy. One night she's overheard by one of her mum's boyfriends, that appears to be a talent representative. He manages to convince her that her talent is special and arranges for her to play at the night club, but problems appear.
