When a volcanologist gets convinced that a devastating natural calamity is about to occur, he and his graduate students believe that recent unexplained volcanic activity indicates that all of the world's volcanoes are ready to explode and destroy every living thing on the earth! They attempt to persuade the government that their notion is not a joke, while also figuring out how to stop it before time runs out!
