On Christmas Eve, a middle-aged man (Stephen Baldwin) and an elderly woman (K Callan) ponder suicide in the Arizona desert. However, via a series of fortuitous encounters with strangers and possibly divine intervention, they cross paths and forever alter the course of one other's lives.
