Set in an island Moonrise Kingdom tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who create a secret pact, fall in love, also run away to the jungle. There is a storm brewing offshore as authorities attempt to hunt them down -- and the island community is flipped up side down in greater ways than anyone could handle.
