Overview
American sitcom Salute Your Shorts ran on Nickelodeon from 1991 to 1992 and in reruns until the beginning of 1999 as a sketch comedy show. It was based on Steve Slavkin's 1986 book Salute Your Shorts: Life at Summer Camp. Filmed in Los Angeles' Franklin Canyon Park and the Griffith Park Boys Camp, it was set at Camp Anawant to, a summer camp for young people. Young campers and their overbearing counselor take the stage in this light-hearted look at life at a summer camp. One of the most well-known tricks campers pull on each other is to take someone's boxers and hang them from a flagpole.
