Meet Spot, an intelligent canine with aspirations of becoming a man. Spot embarks on a cross-country journey with Leonard, his best buddy and master, and their mother after learning that a mad doctor can grant his request. However, Dr. Krank's studies are imperfect, and Leonard and his animal companions will have to correct this genetic error.
