After being stood by her companion Brad (William McNamara), Rachel (Jamie Luner) soon meets Michael (Johnny Messner) and his adolescent child, Sophia. During Christmas Eve pageant practice sessions, Sophia discovers herself tested to strike the high note in her solo of Hark! The Herald Angels Sing. Rachel provides to train Sophia's performance and discovers a brand-new rate of interest in Michael.
