Ye Xiu is the standout player of a Chinese esports squad that dominates the "Glory" hit multiplayer leagues. When his club wants to accept a lucrative sponsorship deal he opposes, his gaming days appear to be over. Dejected, Ye Xiu finds a work at a late-night Internet cafe, where he develops a friendship with the business's owner, Chen Guo.
