Under the colonial ruler, the Princess of those Joseon Dynasty, Deok-hye, is made to proceed to Japan. She spends overlooking home, while fighting to retain dignity as being a princess. After a string of attempts, Deok-hye makes her attempt to come back home with assistance of her childhood sweetheart, Jang-han.
