Within the colorful cosmopolitan society of the namesake Spanish island, a clash of personalities occurs between a British and a German detective with very different attitudes to policing. Despite – or perhaps because of – their polar opposite attitudes, the sleuths establish an ideal complementing alliance each week as they attempt to solve a fresh crime on the island.
