Within this swords-and-sorcery tale, goodhearted blacksmith Eyvind (Max von Sydow) hides a way infant Prince Siegfried (played as an adult by Benno Furmann) after two malevolent warrior murder his father. But a meteor delivered by the gods shows Siegfried's fate, sending him on a lifetime's pursuit.
