Victor Sluzhkin hints on as a teacher of geography in a secondary school in his native Perm (at the Urals) and has lost in a haze of hard vodka, dire love to get a nymphet-like student and the worries of teaching teenagers. Geographer, since the students instantly dub Sluzhkin, attempts to escape by the dull reality of the provincial life in a rafting tour of Russia to the Urals. Accompanied by adventure-seeking adolescents, faced with this nature's grim surprises, Geographer is likely to get their own truth.
